Mine is an older kit but the newer ones come with an end-plate-adaptor which holds the Bigsby onto the end of the guitar through the strap pin hole only: I've heard from at least one person who was able to order that part separately, though.

But these are designed to screw into the top of the guitar, something I didn t want to do. Or I could have used a Vibramate which avoids screwing into the guitar ... If you squint your eyes or even look at it from a distance it almost looks like a proper B7 setup w/o a stoptail. I could have just as easily been swayed to go with a B3.
