Touchy throttle

Even the smallest adjustment to TBIQ in the lower TPS% areas would cause it to lurch then return to idle when lightly pressing the pedal or make it hard to control the throttle when going through dips, over rough roads, bumps and so on. WebJan 12, 2015 · The 2.5 throttle is nowhere near as touchy as a 2014 Forester, in my opinion. It's maybe a tad bit touchier than the 2010 Legacy I used to drive but I haven't had to make any big conscious adjustments to my driving, whereas driving my in-laws' 2011 Forester (and test driving the 2014) is always a jarring experience.

They have reduced the throttle response because MANY people complained about the touchy throttle on the pre 2014. You have to really get into it to get a huge response.
