The ones that are showing up as most recent are from 2011 and I have to scroll pretty far to find pictures that are actually recent. I don't use iCloud, so no issue there. If I go to "Photos" tab on the bottom, it does show them all in order.

It cannot be in order taken because the pictures that jump to the front of the list were taken hours later. I have taken the photos and renamed them so they we in numerical order but on the iPhone they just scramble up.
