Discussion Starter · #1 · Nov 30, 2008. Recently my grizz has been popping/backfiring back through the carb at low rpms. It doesn't do after I am going faster, only about 10 mph and under. It also does it sometimes when I let off the throttle. It seems to do it worse when its cold.

I tried to drain the oil but the plug is on so tight I broke a socket. I'm going to have to pump the oil out.
