WebI've seen water heaters leak in two places. The first is the water lines on top where they attach to the unit. If those are bad, both can be replaced by anyone handy with a wrench for about $25. The second place is on the bottom when the tank itself rusts out. The only fix there is replacement. Good luck. I hope it's just the lines.
