Long story short - I ordered a 340i Drive this past May which im white eager to get. Its been stuck at the US port in Baltimore since June 27th which is almost 10 business days. I have called both my client advisor and BMW and they have no further updates to provide.

It seems like there is a place where I need to depress the connector to remove, but pressing there doesn't seem to help, although I am not really getting a lot of travel in that section of the plug.
