For my money Bisoprolol is a HR control drug which has some properties that lend itself to blood pressure control as well. I have been on 5 mg since January 2010. Prior to AF my HR was upper 90 bpm. Speaking with my GP later this week about alternatives. Reducing Bisoprolol from 5mg to 1.25mg over the last 3 weeks has finally given me some relief today, so I know Bisoprolol is the problem.
